The Caring Caps team is a group of diverse, passionate people that are uniting towards the common goal of changing lives. Information about our most involved team members is below:
Natalie Barton, founder and CEO Natalie found Caring Caps in November of 2010. After seeing devastating images of the Haiti earthquake, she was inspired to give back to Haiti through knitted items, and Caring Caps was born. Natalie, 18, is a freshman at Florida Southern College studying Nursing. Natalie also conducts scientific research and has participated in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
Katie Campione, Vice President
Katie joined the Caring Caps team in 2011. She manages the Caring Caps social accounts, assists in leading Caring Caps's main branch, and is on the board of directors. Katie also gives back to the community through her involvement with the American Cancer Society and the Jefferson Awards for Public Service. Katie, 17, is a freshman at the University of Florida in their journalism school.
Jill Kibler, Treasurer
Jill joined the Caring Caps team in 2010. She manages the financial accounts and assists with the maintenance of Caring Caps's 501(c)(3) certification. Jill graduated summa cum laude from Meredith College, and went on to receive an MBA from Duke University. She is also a very active knitter, assisting with her knowledge of the needle arts. Jill is the mother of two children; John, 21, and Natalie, 18.
